Most drain repairs are very easy and require very few simple tools to fix.
If you need to get the water out of your washing machine quickly so that you can open the door but don’t have time to do the full repair then you can try pulling the drain hose from the drain in the wall behind the washer out and then put that hose in a bucket and let gravity bring out the water in the tub.
You may have to put the drain hose back into the wall drain several times, allowing you to empty the bucket, but this method will get rid of enough water to allow the washing machine to release the door lock. ✨ Washer Won’t Drain - EASY FIX - A Complete Guide ✨

I have a LG Washer/Dryer combo, model WM3555HWA and I get the IE error in the first few minutes of any wash cycle. I have done the following trying to fix this issue:
ReplyDelete1. Replaced the Hot water inlet valve
2. Replace the Cold water inlet valve
3. Replaced the Pressure switch
4. Replace the input water hoses
5. Blew through the hose to the Pressure switch to make sure its not plugged
6. Cleaned the machine and the filter on the front
7. Added a new water pressure pump that runs at 70psi and 7GPM to make sure I have enough pressure.
8. Made sure all electrical connections were tight.
None of this made any difference, So I watched your video on running the diagnosis on the machine and found that the Prewash cycle(#4)n stays a 255 and never changes. The two main wash cycles 935 AND #6)work perfectly going from 255 to 229. Because I get the IE error during the first minute of a wash cycle and the fact that the prewash never moves from 255 I think the issues is with the prewash cycle.
My question is what part do I need to replace to make the prewash cycle work correctly.
